Carolyn Ann Newsome 76, of Cisco was called home to be with her Lord and Savior September 30, 2018. Arrangements for cremation have been entrusted to Kimbrough Funeral Home in Cisco, Texas. A memorial service to honor her life will be at a later date.
Carolyn was born May 9, 1942 in Scranton, Texas to parents Vernon and Frances (Taylor) Baird.
She attended Scranton school. On September 2, 1970 she married Jim Conley Newsome in Fort Worth, Texas. She was a homemaker, mother and worked at various jobs. Carolyn was a member of Nimrod Baptist Church.
Survivors are her husband Jim of Cisco, Texas. Children: Allen Ingram and wife Catherine of Quitman, Texas, Vernon Taw Newsome and wife Melissa of Cisco, and Christopher Newsome of Amarillo, Texas. Siblings: Don Baird and wife Wanda of Eastland, Texas, Linda House and husband Don of Weatherford, Frances Hayes and husband Brian of Temple, Texas, Monda Collins and husband Terry of Houston, Joe Baird and wife Vonda of Ranger and Bonnie Pickens and husband Greg of Ranger, Texas.
