Annette Morrissey 1926 - 2009 BENNINGTON Annette B. Morrissey, 82, died Tuesday at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center in Lebanon, N.H., following a long illness. She was a lifelong resident. Born in Bennington on Nov. 4, 1926, daughter of Louise Pellerin and Alfred F. Bushee, Annette was educated at Sacred Heart School and was a 1945 graduate of Bennington High School. She also attended the former St. Joseph's Business College. She was a longtime member of Sacred Heart Church, and was a member of the St. Anne's Society of Sacred Heart St. Francis de Sales Church. Her husband, John P. Morrissey, whom she married June 5, 1954 in Bennington, died June 8, 2008. She leaves her children, John P. Morrissey of Chatham, N.J., Suzanne M. Morrissey of South Burlington, and Meg M. Parker of Quechee; their spouses, and five grandchildren; a sister, Virginia B. Briggs, and nieces, nephews, and cousins. FUNERAL NOTICE: A Mass of Resurrection will be Monday, June 1, 2009, at 11 a.m. at Sacred Heart St. Francis de Sales Church. Interment will take place privately. At Annette's request, there will be no calling hours. Memorial donations may be made to St. Anne's Society through the MAHAR and SON FUNERAL HOME, 628 Main St., Bennington, Vt 05201.
