Mrs. Agnes (Miller) Sweat, 68, of LaFollette, died at 2 p.m. Sunday at LaFollette Community Hospital. She was a member of the Cedar Creek Baptist Church.
She is survived by her husband, Silas Sweat; four daughters, Mrs. Daphine Claxton of Eagan, Mrs. Cloeva Kitts of LaFollette, Mrs. Jackie Skowron and Mrs. Carol Bielski both of Hazel Park, Mich.; two sons, Fred Violet and Buck Violet, both of LaFollette; three sisters, Mrs. Luola Wyrick, Mrs. Vena Baker and Mrs. Nannie Sutton, all of LaFollette; one brother, Dewey Miller of Baltimore, Md.; 30 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Roach Mortuary Chapel by the Rev. Luke Wilson and the Rev. Bill Floyd. Burial was in Sunrise Cemetery.
