Mr. Ross was born May 5, 1941 in Craig County, Oklahoma to the late Toy Ross and Dorothy Irene Jones.
Mr. Ross was a truck driver and was of the Baptist Faith. He was a US Army veteran.
Those left to cherish his memory include: a sister, Donna Ross Acosta and husband, Mario, of Charlotte; two brothers, Steve Ross and wife, Joyce, and Orville Ross all of Texas; loved ones, Juanita Farmer and daughter, Elizabeth Ross; cousins, Joe Henry and wife, Ann, Jimmy Kelley, June Kelley and Bobbie Ross; best friend, John Wright and wife, Sybil, and a host of friends and relatives. He was an uncle to many Brad Robertson, Stevie Ross, Kellie Ross, Paula Lusty, Natalie Ross, Clifton Ross, Dina, Jeanne and James Maples.
A memorial service will be conducted at a later date at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church in Charlotte and also a service at Moore's Memorial Gardens in Arlington, Texas.
