Elizabeth "Betty" Leskie, 93, formerly of Frackville, passed away Monday, Dec. 20, 2021, at Northside Hospital Forsyth, Cumming, Ga.

Born in Pottsville, Dec. 3, 1928, she was a daughter of the late Max and Tessie Seedor Comac. She was a graduate of Frackville High School.

Betty was an active member of St. Michael's Ukrainian Catholic Church, Frackville. She helped with many of the church functions and always helped with the pierogi makers.

She worked as a seamstress for several local garment factories in the area.

Betty was preceded in death by her husband of 56 years, William A. Leskie, in 2006; sisters, Ann Krul, Marie Argeson, Helen Taylor and Eva Ladick; brothers, Peter and Paul Comac.

She is survived by her son, Jonpaul Leskie and his wife, Cathy, Duluth, Ga.; a grandson, David Leskie and his wife, Erin, Cumming, Ga; a great-grandson, Oliver; several nieces and nephews.

Parastas services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday at the Albert L. Gricoski Funeral Home, Frackville, with Rev. Petro Zvarych as celebrant. Relatives and friends are invited to a visitation from 10 to 11 a.m. at the funeral Home. Interment will be in St. Michael Cemetery, Englewood/Frackville. Albert L. Gricoski Funeral Home, Frackville, has charge of arrangements.
