Adam Arwood, age 37 of Cedar Lake, IN and Spencer, IN, left us to grieve for him on September 19, 2023.

Adam was a 2004 graduate of Hanover Central HS and a 2009 graduate of Indiana University - Bloomington with a B.S. in Kinesiology. Adam worked as a server for many years at Olive Garden, both in Merrillville and Indianapolis, Cheesecake Factory, and most recently, Cracker Barrel in Bloomington, IN. Adam was a die-hard Cubs and Bears fan, Notre Dame football, and of course, the IU Hoosiers. He loved attending the Sox home opener every year with his best friends while wearing his Cubs regalia. He was known for his smart wit and sarcasm, which we will miss. Adam was the fun uncle for many of his nieces and nephews. He also enjoyed golfing and fishing with family and friends. Adam had a tremendous love for his family and for those who were fortunate enough that he considered them framily. Always ready to lend a hand to whoever needed it, he was a giving, caring, and loyal person. His presence will be missed whenever we gather together and leaves a large, empty hole in our hearts.

Adam was preceded in death by his father, Steven Arwood, his nephew, Mason Arwood, his grandparents, Clifton and Barbara Arwood and his uncle, Curtis Turpin. He is survived by his mother, Debbi Arwood of Spencer, IN, sisters, Micci Granger of Rantoul, IL, Becky Granger of Broadway, NC, and Robyn Arwood of Cedar Lake, IN; brothers, Brett Arwood of Cedar Lake, IN and Nick Arwood of Lowell; grandparents Cecil and Antoinette Turpin of Iva, SC and many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins and a myriad of friends.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, September 30, at 17011 Wicker Ave, Lowell, IN 46356 at 2:00 C.S.T. We ask that friends and family bring photos of Adam in remembrance of him.
