Mr. Otis ''Bo'' Lucas, 72, died Wednesday (January 9, 2002) at the Satilla Regional Medical Center after a lengthy illness.

He was a native and lifelong resident of Brantley County, GA. He was married to the late Violet Lucas and was the son of the late Fredrick William Lucas and Rachel O'Berry Lucas and was preceded in death by a grandson Paul ''Scoot'' Aldridge. He was a barber for many years and had worked as a Purolator Career Driver for several years. He was a U.S. Army Veteran of WWII.

The survivors include one son, Eddie Aldridge of Brunswick; three daughters, Tanya Cason, Cherry Shulman and Tammy Thigpen (husband Melvin) all of Waycross; six grandchildren, Jeff Shulman of Waycross, Rodney Aldridge (wife Bonnie) of Jesup, Tammy Young (husband Richard) of Waycross, Christy Young (husband Don) of Waycross, Becky Cason of Hoboken and Rachel Bailey (husband Daron) of Waycross; Numerous great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

A joint memorial service for Mr. Otis ''Bo'' Lucas and his wife Mrs. Violet Lucas will be held 11:00 am Saturday (March 9, 2002) in the Hoboken Church of God.

Music Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
