Fay is survived by one son, Thomas J. Gaines and wife Kathleen; grandchildren. Jerry D. Gaines of Brisbane, Jennifer Carrettin of Houston, Joseph Gaines of Pittsburgh, four grandchildren and her much-loved nieces, Mary Moore of Dallas, Virginia McGuire of Washington, D.C., Charlene Robertson of California and Mary Pat Ury of Maine.
