Services for Sarah B. Pierce, 59, 716 South First Ave. West, Rock Springs, were conducted Nov. 25 at the Vase Funeral Chapel. Bishop Greg Messel of the LDS Church officiated.
Burial was in Mountain View Cemetery.
Jim Martin, Floyd Martinez, DeVerle Craig, Parley Pierce, Clint Craig and Andy Martinez served as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers were Dion Martinez, Brian Pierce, Rickie Young and Jimmy Barbero.
Mrs. Pierce died Nov. 22 at the LDS Hospital in Salt Lake City, Utah.
A resident of Rock Springs since 1970 and former resident of Spanish Fork, Utah, Mrs. Pierce had been in ill health since March. She was born in Spanish Fork, on May 28, 1922, the daughter of the late Pratt and Verlie Wagstaff Hill. She attended schools in Spanish Fork and married Paul Clinton Pierce in Spanish Fork on Feb. 11, 1938. Mrs. Pierce was employed by the Safeway Stores as a department manager at the time of her death.
Survivors include her husband, Paul of Rock Springs; three sons, Paul Roger Pierce of Douglas, Claude Pratt Pierce of Payson, Utah, Glen H. Pierce of Memphis, Tenn.; three daughters, Mrs. DeVerl (Ann) Craig of Santaquin, Utah, Mrs. Floyd (Beryl) Gabbitas of Springville, Utah, Mrs. Robert (Veon) Dyer of Bountiful, Utah; four brothers, James Hill of Payson, Utah, Ray S. Hill of Spanish Fork, Utah, Rolle E. Hill of Salt Lake City, Utah and Roy Lindley of Payson, Utah; 19 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Pierce was preceded in death by one brother and two sisters.
