Sgt. Herman Weingard, one of the European war dead recently returned to Brooklyn, will be buried tomorrow with military honors in Cypress hills National Cemetery. The funeral will be from Kirchenbaum Brothers Funeral Home, 345 Throop Ave., at 9:30 a.m.
Sergeant Weingard, formerly of 486 Flushing Ave., died in Germany in November, 1944, of wounds received while serving with Company A, 18th Infantry, 1st Division. He held the Silver Star and the Purple Heart decorations.
