Bobbye Miller, 80, of Baytown, TX was born August 6, 1927 in Mexia and passed away Sunday, April 6, 2008 in a Houston hospital. She attended East Texas Baptist University on a voice scholarship and was a member of Memorial Baptist Church, where she was a Sunday School teacher and director of Adult I and IV and was a past president of the Sanctuary Choir. She was also a member of the Pilot Club of Baytown, Epsilon Sigma Alpha Sorority, 12 Friends Pokino and American Women in Radio and Television.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Clyde and Eva Jean Mason; beloved husband, George Michael Miller; and dear son, Kirk Michael Miller. She is survived by her son, Brent Mason Miller of Lake Jackson; daughter-in-law, Christine Miller of Baytown; daughter and son-in-law, Jeana and Joey Masterson of Baytown; sister, Clyde Grubbs of Baton Rouge, LA; and grandchildren, Lauren Miller of Lake Jackson and Jacob Miller and Jared Masterson, both of Baytown.

Her family will receive friends at Navarre Funeral Home Monday from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Funeral services will be Tuesday, April 8, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. at Navarre Funeral Home with Rev. Brad Hoffman officiating. Burial will follow at Cedarcrest Cemetery.
