DEATH TAKES PROMINENT STOCKMAN


WEST WEBER – Robert Penman, of West Weber, Co-owner of Penman and Loock Livestock Co., died Sunday morning at his home of cause's incident to age. He was 85.
Mr. Penman was born May 16, 1884, in West Weber, a son of James and Barbara Colville Penman.
A livelong resident of West Weber, he was director in Ogden Area Beef Feeders Association. He has served as director of Weber County Farm Bureau and was past president of West Weber Group of Weber County Farm Bureau.

PAST DIRECTOR

He was director of the Ogden Livestock Association and past director of Plan City Dairy Days Association.
He was a Seventy in the West Weber LDS Ward and had served in the MIA presidency and was also sports director and merit badge counselor in scouting. He had been a director for 4-H Club Leaders Association.
Surviving is one sister, Miss Mary Penman of West Weber.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 11 a.m. at Lindquist and Sons Colonial Chapel with Bishop Boyd Hancock of the West Weber Ward officiating.
Friends may call at the mortuary Tuesday from 7 to 9 p.m. and Wednesday until services
Burial will be in the West Weber Cemetery.
