Robert Dress, Jr., age 76, of Wellston, passed away Monday, September 4, 2023, at Maple Hills Nursing Facility in McArthur, Ohio. He was born October 21, 1946 in Wellston, Ohio, son of the late Robert Dress, Sr. and Estelle Morgan Dress. Robert was a former employee at Superior Fibers in Bremen, Ohio for several years. He always enjoyed being around animals and working outside in his flower gardens. Robert is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Sheri and Jason Huffman of Pomeroy; grandchildren, Keaton Huffman, Aleya Huffman, Zachary Dress and Kayla Dress; great-grandchild, Ryland Steinmetz; and sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Kathy and David Sigman of New Haven, West Virginia. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Vickie Lynn Dress; and son, Eric Dress. In keeping with Robert's wishes, there will be no services. Private burial will be in the Ridgewood Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of the McWilliams Funeral Home in Wellston.
