Batesburg, SC - Funeral services for Mrs. Bonna Alafair Miller Goff of near Batesburg will be held at Sardis Baptist church at 4 o'clock Monday afternoon, September 6, 1948, conducted by her pastor, the Rev. H. M. Hodges. Interment will follow in the Furman Matthews cemetery.
Mrs. Goff was born in Saluda county November 1, 1875 and died on September 5, 1948. She was the widow of the late Josiah Garrett Goff.
Survivors include the following children, Mertie (S. E.) Rikard, Lexington; Verda (Willie) Beck, Newberry, Annie (George) Miller, Ward; Ola (Jakie) Temple, Batesburg, and L. C. Goff, Batesburg, with whom she made her home; five step-children, one brother, four sisters and 18 grandchildren.
