HEFLIN, LA - Funeral services for Mrs. Reba Haynie Tipton, 91, will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, October 11, 2006 at Rose-Neath's Minden Chapel with Bro. Dee Anders officiating. Burial will be in Bistineau Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, October 10, 2006 at the funeral home.
Mrs. Tipton, a native of Arcadia, LA and a homemaker, died Sunday, October 8, 2006 in Minden, LA. She was a long time member of the Sheppard Heights Assembly of God Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband Garnett Tipton.
She is survived by son, Jimmie Tipton and wife Nora of Princeton, LA; three daughters: Jackie (Beulah) McAllister of Heflin, LA, Tommie Marie Godwin of Minden, LA, Nettie Harris of Kemp, TX; sister, Gladys Cloud of Ashland, LA; brother, Revis Haynie and wife Louvonia of New Camey, TX and sister-in-law Jauanita Haynie of Arcadia, LA; ten grandchildren; eighteen great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.
Pallbearers: Rodney Farrington, Billy Farrington, Jimmie Tipton, Jr., Erwin Tipton, Tommy Walton, Curtis Garrett, and Mark McLaughlin.
