Edward Kenneth Lasher, 71, of Kittanning, died Tuesday, Jan. 23, 2007, peacefully at his home. He was born Sept. 28, 1935, in Adrian, to the late Tom and Lena (Wolfe) Lasher. He worked at Davis Buick/Cadillac for much of his life, he also worked at Enterprise. He owned Lasher Hauling for several years and 422 Video. He was a wonderful father and "Pappy". He enjoyed playing darts, hunting, fishing, mowing the lawn and spending time with family and friends. He is survived by his wife, Janet (Schrecengost) Lasher; sons, Edward Lasher Jr. and wife, Andrea, of Ford City, and Michael Lasher, of Kittanning; daughter, Julie (Lasher) Welch and husband, Brian, of Kittanning; grandchildren, Chelsey, Dylan, Josh, Austin, Justyne and Kenzie; brothers, Bill Lasher and wife Isabell, James Lasher and wife Ethel, Wade Lasher and wife Janet, and Paul Lasher and the late Vera Lasher; and sister, Mildred "Sis" Beatty and husband Paul. Also survived by nephews and nieces. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Tom Lasher. Visitation will be from 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at SNYDER-CRISSMAN FUNERAL HOME, Kittanning, where services will be 11 a.m. Friday with the Rev. Dr. David R. Skinner officiating. Interment in United Rockville Lutheran Cemetery.
