MARTINSVILLE Hoyett Leonard Barrow Sr., 66, of 42 Riverview Court died June 7, 1992, at Memorial Hospital in Henry County.

Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Starling Ave. Baptist Church, of which he was a member. Burial will be in Roselawn Burial Park.

A native of Henry County, he was a retired supervisor with E.I. DuPont Company, World War II Army veteran, an assistant Sunday School teacher and Deacon at his church. He helped organize the parks and recreation associations at South Martinsville School and was a former member of the Junior Order of United Mechanics.

Surviving are wife, Carleen Matthews Barrow; son, Hoyett L. "Len" Barrow Jr. of Martinsville, Va.; daughters, Mrs. Linda B. Barbour of South Hill, Va., Mrs. Joyce B. Davis of Atlanta, Ga.; sisters, Mrs. Virginia Jones, Mrs. Nancy Frith, both of Martinsville, Va., Mrs. Dora Lewis Stultz of Stoneville; brothers, Ira Barrow of Eden, Benjamin F. Barrow III of Martinsville; six grandchildren.
