PRINCETON — Mary Jane Dunagan, 76, of Route 3, Princeton died Tuesday morning, March 11, 2008 at her residence.

Born in Princeton on December 22, 1931, she was the daughter of the late Lonnie and Fannie Jane Crockett McBride. She was retired from Maidenform in Princeton with over 30 years of service.

She attended the Hatcher United Methodist Church.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Frank O. Dunagan; two sisters, Georgie Brady and Patricia McBride and one brother, Jimmy McBride.

Survivors include two children, Linda Collins and husband Jim, and Frank E. Dunagan both of Princeton; four grandchildren, Mark Collins, Kasey Peters and Kristy Dunagan, all of Princeton and Mary Beth Collins of Baltimore, Md.; brothers and sisters, Mildred Flagle and husband Bill of Bristol, Tenn., Willard McBride and wife Betty Jo of Princeton, Nannie Guynn and husband Bud and Edith Smith and husband Ken, both of Vinton, Va., Freddie McBride and wife Sandra of Chicago, Ill,, Sonnie McBride and wife Trudy of Louisiana, and Gary McBride of Mayfield, N.C.; and special friend, Elijah.

A Service to Celebrate the life of Mary Jane Dunagan will be held on Thursday, March 13, 2008 at 1:00 p.m. from the Burns Wornal Chapel of the Memorial Funeral Directory on the Athens Road in Princeton with the Reverend Aubrey Whitlow and Reverend Bill Crawford officiating. Burial will follow in the Dunagan-Whittaker Cemetery, Route 3, Princeton.

Allen, Arlo, Brent and Craig Dunagan, Bruce Brady, Jim Baker and Ernie Whitt will serve as pallbearers.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home Wednesday evening from 6 to 8 p.m.
