John's ashes are buried on the Louis Bitter family plot. He is buried on the left rear of the monument, no marker. His wife Minnie (Bitter) Evans ashes are marked by the small stone marker to the right rear. Both were cremated. Source: Cemetery caretaker, Kurt Studer.
