2nd m. Mary M. Shultz b. 1845-3/11/1880 Died in Detroit, Wayne, Michigan M. 9/28/1870

2 Children: Harry Benjamin Stickel- Lutz b. 9/10/1872-d. 1/21/1965 Buried in Beulah Cemetery-Colby Kansas. He was William's informant.
Mary "Mae" (Stickel) -Lutz Rasmussen b. 5/1/1874-d. 9/7/1901 Buried Shiloh Cemetery-Hiawatha, Ia.
Both children raised by William's sister Sarah Mariah Lutz and Charles Lutz as their mother also died young. After Charles died, Sarah married Jackson G. Hunter who then raised Harry & Mae.
