Passed away Firday morning, March 25, 1977. Mr Cook was born July 25, 1912 in Kalamazoo and was a lifelong resident here. Before his retirement he was employed by the Kalamazoo Fire Department for 32 years, serving as administrative assistant for 25 years. Surviving are: wife, Lorraine Raymont Cook; one daughter (living) ; three brothers, R. Dale Cook of Richland, Noel Cook of Mattawan, and Millard Cook of Portage; several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by three sisters and two brothers, Mrs. Grace Ruess, Mrs Ruth Reardon, Mrs Hildred Pamp, Otis and Paul Cook. Graveside services will be held Monday afternoon at 1:30 in Riverside Cemetary, Rev Mr Arthur Rayn, associate pastor of First United Methodist Church of Battle Creek officiating. Friends may meet ath the Langeland Chapel, 622 S Burdick, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 on Saturday and Sunday. Memorials may be made to the Sisters of St. Joseph Guild.
