Conrad J. Faller, aged 86 years, passed away at the family residence in Oil City, at 6 o'clock Sunday evening, August 3, 1930, following a short illness. The deceased was born in Fryburg, Clarion County, on August 10, 1843, and was a blacksmith there until he moved to Oil City in 1902. For 17 years, he was an employee of Hasson Park, retiring four years ago, and he had a host of friends throughout this district. He is survived by two sons and two daughters, all of Oil City, William F., Norbert A., Loretta and Clarissa Faller; a sister, Mrs. D. F. Tobey, of Franklin; and 11 grandchildren. He was a member of St. Joseph Church and Holy Name Society. Solemn Requiem Mass was celebrated in his memory from St. Joseph at 9 o'clock Wednesday morning, following which interment was made in the new St. Joseph Cemetery.
Death certificate gives age as 86 years, 11 months and 23 days. Son of Jacob Faller & Mary Ann Von Douager. Daughter, Loretta Faller, was informant. Buried on August 6, 1920.
