Pierre was the son of Antoine Dupuis and Marguerite Anne Boudreaux. He was born in Connecticut after his family had been deported on 27 October 1755 during the Acadien expulsion from Nova Scotia.
Pierre was baptized in Mirebalais, St Domingue (French Santo Domingo, current day Haiti) on 12 September 1964 at age 7.
He died on 20 September 1764. His mother died on 20 October 1764 at age 30, brother Antoine died 2 October 1764 at age 4, and brother Felix Dupuis died 23 October 1764 at age 10.
