Elvin "Pork" Beach, 82, of Denmark, IA, passed away on Sunday, December 31, 2023 at 3:05 PM at his home.
He was born on May 15, 1941 in rural West Point at his home to Alfred and Virginia Martin Beach. Pork married Joanne Teel and they later divorced. He then married Vicki Swanson Enke on March 27, 1970 in Oquawka, IL. Pork owned and operated Beach & Enke Trucking and also PNB Processing/Augusta Quarry. He was a member of Denmark Congregational United Church of Christ, 3 Rivers Tractor Club, ATHS SE Iowa Chapter, Wheels of Time and Big Creek Tractor Association. Pork loved restoring old tractors and going to tractor shows and truck shows. Pork loved being outside and working in his yard. He also loved his dogs, especially Tiny.
Survivors include his wife, Vicki Beach of Denmark; two sons, John (Rena) Beach and Jerry Beach both of Denmark; fourteen grandchildren; seventeen great grandchildren and one on the way; stepson, Kurt (Shannon) Enke of Denmark; stepdaughter, Tamara Beach of Wapello; daughter in law, Kelly Enke of Denmark; one brother, Ernie (Trudy) Beach of Denmark; sister in law, Lorraine Beach of Elko, NV; several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; two daughters, Katherine Joanne and Julie Bergquist; two stepsons, Victor and Gene Enke; a son in law, Bob Bergquist; a brother, Jack and granddaughter, Tonya Beach.
Friends may call after 2 PM on Friday, January 5, 2024 at King-Lynk Funeral Home where the family will meet with friends from 5-7 PM. The funeral service will be held on Saturday, January 6, 2024 t 10:30 AM at Denmark Congregational United Church of Christ with Rev. Chad Savage officiating. Burial will be in Denmark Cemetery.
