August Martin, one of the substantial citizens of White county, died at 1 o'clock yesterday morning at his home thee miles northwest of Chalmers. His death was caused by paralysis of the stomach. A widow and four children survive. He was a member of the Chalmers Camp of Modern Woodmen of America and carried 12,000 insurance. The funeral will be conducted fro the residence tomorrow morning at 10 o'clock and the interment will be made in the Carr cemetery.
