wife of Hiram K Spier; born So Carolina, married c 1820 in Alabama.
*On 1860 Pike Co, Census with dtr Marianna living next door to her s-i-l & dtr, Andrew & Sarah Shaw with other children as neighbors. After Hiram's death all his lands were sold to satisfy debts, so she moved to Union Parish, LA with her adult children. 1870 she is found in Union Par. LA in the household of her son, Jefferson B Spier with dtr Marianna/Miriam.

*Tabitha Spier (1822 - 1870) mar Robert Beasley 11 Apr 1839 • Pike, Alabama (my gggrandmother)
*Rachel Spier (1823 - 1860) mar Abel J Kolb 1 Mar 1843 Pike, Alabama
(both died in 1860 -after filing of Hiram's will in Feb but before 1860 Census as an "Infant son of A. Kolb" 1 month old is shown in household of John Spier, brother of Hiram- likely taken in as Mary had no means of support for her and dtr Miriam)
