To the Honorable Bird Fitzpatrick, Judge of Probate for the aforesaid County, your Petitioner, A. J. Shaw, administrator of Hiram K Spier, dec'd, respectfully represents unto your Honor, that the personal property of said dec'd, including notes, accounts, moneys, etc. is wholly insufficient to pay the indebtedness of said estate, that it is necessary for the purpose of paying said debts to sell all the lands belonging to said estate, to wit:

........ in all two hundred & eighty acres.

Your petitioner further represents that Mary Spier, widow of dec'd, Sarah Shaw wife of petitioner, Lydia Cowart wife of Asbury Cowart, Geo Spier of Butler County [AL], Rachel Kolb wife of Abel Kolb of Coffee Co, all of whom reside in the state and are of full age;

and Tabitha Beasley wife of Robert Beasley, Louisa Mathews wife of Thomas Mathews, Frances Williamson wife of Joseph Williamson, Jefferson Spier, all of whom are of full age and reside in the state of (Bienville, Union Parish) Louisiana; also John Williams Spier, minor son of deceased and a resident of the state of Louisiana; and Marianne Spier a minor residing in the said County of Pike with her mother, widow of the dec'd, are the heirs at law of said estate.

Your Petitioner prays that your Honor will set a day for the Hearing of this Petition, cause notices to issue to those interested to appear on said day and contest ? if they think proper this petition; your Petitioner further prays that your Honor will grant him all other & further relief that the notes & facts of this case demand and is duly bound he will ____ for all.
