Services for Addie Schumacher Wylie, 91, of Athens are scheduled For 2:00 pm on Tuesday at Landmark Baptist Church with the Rev. Larry Fondren officiating. Burial will follow at the Davis Cemetery under the direction of Carroll and Lehr Funeral Home of Athens. Mrs. Wylie died Aptil 23, 2005, in an Athens nursing home.
She was born June 7, 1913 in the Baxter community in Henderson County to August Frank and Emma Sophia Klusmeier Schumacher.
Mrs. Wylie was a resident of Athens most of her life, where she was employed for 25 years at Vasarette of Munsingwear Inc., retiring in 1978. She attended Baxter school and was a member of Landmark Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Malvern "Cody" and Vickie Wylie of LaRue; granddaughters, Lyndsay Wylie, Arika Wylie, both of Weatherford, Okla., and Ariana Wylie of LaRue; and numerous nieces and nephews including Calvin Wilson of Longview and Jimmy and Billie Marie Richardson of Baxter.
