She was born June 7, 1913 in the Baxter community in Henderson County to August Frank and Emma Sophia Klusmeier Schumacher.
Mrs. Wylie was a resident of Athens most of her life, where she was employed for 25 years at Vasarette of Munsingwear Inc., retiring in 1978. She attended Baxter school and was a member of Landmark Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Malvern "Cody" and Vickie Wylie of LaRue; granddaughters, Lyndsay Wylie, Arika Wylie, both of Weatherford, Okla., and Ariana Wylie of LaRue; and numerous nieces and nephews including Calvin Wilson of Longview and Jimmy and Billie Marie Richardson of Baxter.
