Angie was born in Muenster to John and Catherine Haverkamp Walterscheid. She was educated in Sacred Heart School through the eighth grade, then went to work helping out new mothers after childbirth. She met James John Eckart while working for Johnny Zimmerer in Lindsay and later married him on October 22, 1940 in Sacred Heart Church. She became the mother of eleven children.
She is survived by daughters Mary Ann Koesler, Betty Jane Simmel, Agnes Hesse, Rose Black, Dolores Hofbauer, and sons Jim, Don, Jerry, Mike, John and Steve, and brothers Raymond, Norbert, and Hank Walterscheid and sisters, Bertha Hacker and Dorothy Mae Yosten.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James, sisters Sr. Thomasina, Regina and Emma Walterscheid, and brothers Andy, Emil, and Bernard Walterscheid and her parents.

Angeline loved to cook and have her family around her. We miss you Mom.
