Carl L. Cypher, 84, of Worthington, passed away Sunday July 23, 2023 at Butler Memorial Hospital. He was born February 23, 1939 in Worthington to the late Paul and Henrietta (Schnur) Cypher.

Carl was a retired truck driver and served in the Pennsylvania National Guard.

He was a member of St. John Roman Catholic Church in Coylesville. Carl was also a member of the Worthington American Legion, Happy Hunters Sportsman Club in Fenelton, and the R.C. Men's Club in Herman. He enjoyed farming and playing horseshoes.

Carl is suvived by his wife of 64 years Sandra (Rearick) Cypher of Worthington; son COL. Retired Kenneth (Beth) Cypher of Emlenton; granddaughters Sabrine Cypher PhD. of Framingham, MA; Mackenzie Cypher of Emlenton, and Miranda Cypher of Thorndale, PA; brothers Edward (Dolly) Cypher of Chicora and COL. Retired Ronald (Dorothy) Cypher of Alabama; numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers Robert Cypher and Larry "Butch" Cypher; sister Jean Crytzer.

Friends will be received on Wednesday July 26, 2023 at the F. Duane Snyder Funeral Home in Worthington from 2:00 to 4:00 and 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. A funeral Mass will be held on Thursday July 27, 2023 at 11:00 A.M. at St John Roman Catholic Church in Coylesville. Interment is in St. John Roman Catholic Church Cemetery.
