Monica Boschert, age 81 of Beaver Dam, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, October 3, 2012 at her home.

Monica was born on July 31, 1931 in Crookston, MN to Henry and Albertine (nee Menard) Fontaine. She graduated from St. Joseph's Academy in Crookston, MN. Monica worked at 3M in Minnesota and later for the State of Minnesota. She was united in marriage to Charles A. Boschert on August 9, 1952 at St. Columba Parish, St. Paul, MN. Monica enjoyed sewing, crocheting, knitting, cross-stitching, shopping, reading, baking, gardening and visiting her friends. She also was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Parish in Horicon.

Monica is survived by her nine children, Terry (Beth) Boschert of Brown Deer, Ann (Scott) Nickerson of Madison, Gail (Mike) Tomko of DeKalb, IL, Gary (Deana) Boschert of Beaver Dam, David (Wendy) Boschert of Beaver Dam, Mary (Mark) Wiske of Sun Prairie, Bill (Mary Pat) Boschert of Beaver Dam, Daniel (Susan) Boschert of Campbellsport and Michelle (Ted) Aguilar of Cottage Grove, MN; 20 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; and her sisters, Beatrice (Linus) Mercil of Baton Rouge, LA, Pauline Keohen of Shoreview, MN and Claire Kustritz of S. St. Paul, MN. She is further survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Monica was preceded in death by her husband, Charles in 2010, her sister, Virginia Holman and her brother, Laurence Fontaine.

A Mass of Christian Burial for Monica will be held on Monday, October 8, 2012 at 2:00p.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Parish, 950 Washington St., Horicon with Fr. Mike Erwin as Celebrant. Visitation will take place prior to the service at church, beginning at NOON. Monica will be laid to rest next to her husband at Oakwood Cemetery in Beaver Dam and a luncheon will follow at Cornerstone Funeral & Cremation Services, Inc., 135 Keller Blvd. in Beaver Dam.
