She met the love of her life-Roman Anderegg- while working at a summer resort in Northern Wisconsin, where she was a cook, and he was a maintenance man. They married on June 13, 1960, in Glidden WI. The first two years of their marriage were spent on Roman's family farm in Winter, WI before they relocated to Manitowoc, WI for work and school. In 1970, they moved to their current home in Michicot. She worked various seasonal jobs before working as a manager for the Uni-mart Convenience stores for over 20 years before finishing out her working career at Federal Mogel. In her spare time, Diane enjoyed volunteering as a 4-H Leader, Girl Scout Leader, and Catholic Education Teacher for over 25 years. Never one to say no, she was dedicated to helping out with various church activities.
Diane liked playing bingo, going to the casino, crafts, rummage and estate sales, playing cards, camping, vacationing in Glidden with family and friends, enjoying catching up with her lifelong friends from Trails End Trailer court and Holy Cross Parish, and spending time with her grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by sons, Roman and Aaron; Parents: Rosellen and Nicholas Kempf; Parent in-laws; Minnie Mae and Arnold Anderegg; Brothers, Don, Jimmy, and Dean Kempf; Daughter in-law; Yvette Anderegg (Adam); Many Aunts, Uncles, Nieces, Nephews and Close Friends.
Diane is survived by her husband: Roman Anderegg; Children: Adam, Nathan ( Jaimie) and Noalee (Adam); Grandchildren: Cloee (Tom), Nathan, Jared, Mikayla, Rylee, Reagan, Rhetta, Randa, Romie, Remington, Riann; Sisters: Marlene (Dan), Carol (David); Many Aunts, Uncles, Nieces, Nephews, Cousins, and Close Friends.
The family would like to thank the following: Dr. Hoffman and Staff for their many years of patience in dealing with Diane's stubbornness; The caregiving team of Unity Hospice; Her niece Terri, Diane's angel; Her sisters Carol and Marlene and best friend, Lou Ann for assisting the family in caring for Diane.
Visitation will be at Holy Cross Catholic Parish in Michicot from 9 to 11am on Saturday, November 17th. A Mass of Christian Burial to follow officiated by Father Jeff and family friend, Deacon Dave.
