"A native of Shawnee, Okla., Mrs. Kossow moved to Oakland in 1940, Chico in 1945 and to Watsonville in 1971. She was a member and past noble grand of the Paradise Rebeckah Lodge No. 62 and was a member and past president of the American Legion Auxiliary. Mrs. Kossow also belonged to the First Baptist Church of Watsonville.
"Survivors include a brother, Lewis Switzer of Texas; and a sister, Helen Goold of Watsonville. Her husband, John, died on July 15, 1992. Private burial will be in Pajaro Valley Memorial Park in Watsonville.
"Memorial contributions may be made to the First Baptist Church, 101 Madison St., Watsonville, 95076. Davis Memorial Chapel of Watsonville handled the arrangements."
