*Nettie Barnard is the Twin sister of: Harriet Barnard -- this is verified by Hattie's September 1943
obituary, which states: Hattie is survived by "a twin sister, Mrs. Henry Jacobs, of Atlanta, Georgia".

Nettie Barnard married her 1st husband, Frank L. Allen, on August 6, 1907, in Milford, NY.
Unfortunately, 11 months after their marriage, Frank L. Allen died on July 10, 1908.
On September 6, 1908, just two months after Frank's death, a baby girl was born that he never knew.
This baby's name was Thelma Frances. A second unfortunate death came to this family when
Thelma Frances Allen died on March 20, 1909, at the age of 6 months old.
She is buried in Milford Cemetery in Milford, New York with her father, Frank L. Allen.

*Nettie (Barnard) Allen lived on and later married her 2nd husband, Henry G. Jacobs Sr.,
on June 30, 1913 in Luray, Page county VA, with whom she had 3 sons and 1 daughter.
Per Westview Cemetery, Atlanta GA records, Nettie is buried here in the above family Plot,
