Darrell Joseph Boudreaux, age 71, of Cankton, LA passed away on July 12, 2023 at Lafayette General Medical Center.
Darrell was born on August 2, 1951 in Lafayette, Louisiana and lived most of his life in the Cankton area. He began his working career with AMACO and retired with BP American after thirty-two years of employment. Prior to becoming ill, he enjoyed taking care of his yard, flowers and cattle.
Those left to cherish his memory and all the good times together are his wife of fifty-two years, Bonnie Boudreaux of Cankton; his Godchild, Tammy Henry (Mike) of Moss Bluff; nephew, Tyler Marks of Youngsville; and niece, Heidi Henry of Moss Bluff.
He is preceded in death by a son, Eddie James Boudreaux; his mother, Louise Boudreaux; and father, Ashton Boudreaux.
A private burial will be held per his request for his immediate family.
