Katie L. Jackson, 73, of 8604 Stonegate Drive, Raleigh, died Saturday, October 31, 2009 at Duke Raleigh Hospital. She was born in Wake County, the daughter of the late Rufus A. Leonard and Iva Keith Leonard and was a member of Falls Baptist Church. Mrs. Jackson was a school bus driver for the Wake County Public School Transportation Department.
Funeral services were held at 3 o'clock, Tuesday afternoon, November 3, 2009 in the Chapel of Bright Funeral Home. Burial was in Pine Forest Memorial Gardens.
Mrs. Jackson is survived by her husband, Cliff Jackson; daughter, Elizabeth Ann Jackson of Savannah, GA; son, Craig Philip Jackson of Wake Forest; brother Rufus Nelson Leonard of Wake Forest.
