Gary Don Dearmond, age 68, of Douglasville, Georgia passed away on Thursday, July 6, 2023. He was born March 19, 1955 in Levelland, Texas. A loving husband, devoted father and grandfather, Gary's favorite pastime was to spend time with the grandchildren!! He also enjoyed tinkering. He was always working on something. One of Gary's great passions was taking care of his wife, Pat, and spending time with his grandchildren, Zach, Emma, Sadie and Abi. Gary was a member of First Baptist Church of Douglasville. He loved his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Gary's legacy will be forever—telling his grandchildren and others about Jesus.
Gary was preceded in death by his parents, Jesse and Lanell (Moore) DeArmond; and a brother, Bruce DeArmond.
Those left to cherish his memory are his beloved wife of 48 years, Pat DeAmond; two daughters, Lisa Burleson (Boomer) and Jessica Ragsdale; one sister, Sherry DeArmond; four grandchildren, Zach Burleson, Emma Burleson, Sadie DeArmond and Abigael Ragsdale; as well as other relatives and numerous friends.

Services will be announced.
