Ada Fern Garland of Pomona, Ca., died January 26, 1990, at Pomona Valley Hospital Medical Center.
A native of Nebraska, she was a Pomona resident for 48 years.
She was born February 1, 1907, to Chris and Mary Roth Schrock at Ong.
She was married to Lee Garland of Ohiowa on February 21, 1928.
To this union, two children were born, Betty Garland Michel of West Covina, Ca., and Richard Lee Garland of Upland, Ca.
She leaves to mourn her husband, Lee of Pomona; daughter, Betty of Covina, Ca.,; five grandchildren and eight great grandchildren; two sisters, Florence Bowen of Omaha and Katie Neel of Ontario, Ca.
Those who preceded her in death were her father and mother, two sisters, Pearl Kline and Lena Schelkopf; and three brothers, Floyd, Gaylord and Harry Schrock.
Ada was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran church in Pomona for many years.
Services were held Tuesday, January 30, at Todds Memorial Chapel.
Entombment was in the Pomona Mausoleum.
Todds Memorial Chapel was in charge of arrangements.
Mr. and Mrs. Chet Bowen of Omaha and Mrs. Shirley Nelson of Omaha attended the funeral in Pomona, Ca.
