Mr. Cantrell died July 10 at DeKalb General Hospital following an extended illness.
A native of DeKalb County, he was the son of the late Gentry and Velvo Cantrell.
Surviving are six sisters, Christine Todd and Betty Ann Vanzine, both of California, Dorothy Cantrell of Michigan, Imogene Crook of Liberty, Cleta Turner Horn of Florida and Omega Sue Chapman of Alexandria.
Serving as pallbearers were Ronald Crook, Ricky Murphy, Mike Snyders, Ceylon Taylor, Steven Baker and Ronnie Hobbs.
