66 year old Dorothy Cantrell Roman of Smithville died Friday at her residence. She was a homemaker and a member of the Kingdom of Jesus Church. The funeral will be Monday at 1:00 p.m. at the Chapel of Love-Cantrell Funeral Home. Burial will be in DeKalb Cemetery. She was preceded in death by her parents, Gentry Cantrell and Velvo Arnold Thrasher; a sister, Freda Hobbs; and three brothers, Eddie, T.J., and Albert Cantrell. Survivors include her husband, Ramon Roman. Three sons, Rickey and his wife Doreen Reece, Nickey and his wife Remega Reece, and Arthur Dawson, Jr. all of Smithville. A daughter, Vickie Lopez of McMinnville. Fourteen grandchildren, twenty two great grandchildren. Five sisters, Cleta Horn, Omega Sue Sanders both of Smithville, and Imogene Crook of Liberty, and Betty Ann Vanzini and Christine Todd both of California. Visitation will be Sunday from 1:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. and Monday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service at 1:00 p.m.
