Sandy was a 1974 graduate of New Berlin West High School. She was a 1978 graduate of Maranatha Baptist Bible College in Watertown, Wisconsin with a degree in Physical Education and Bible studies.
From 1978 to 1983 Sandy was a Phy. Ed. teacher in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Later, from May 1992 to December 2002, she worked in various positions at PM Plastics Co. in Pewaukee, Wisconsin. Then from 2004 until her retirement for health reasons in 2015, Sandy was a Religious Studies teacher at Honey Creek Church School in Wauwatosa.
Sandy lived in Three Lakes, Wisconsin in the late 1980's (with her mother and stepfather) but lived most of her adult life in Waukesha, Wisconsin; a home she shared with her sister Christine.
Sandy had a strong faith in God. She loved her family and her dachshunds. She had a love of lighthouses also.
Sandy lived quietly and peacefully the last years of her but she required an oxygen tank. She passed away at age 67 from complications after surgery.
Sandy was survived by her siblings Mary Schrank, Alan (Kathy) Schrank, Jeanine (Randy) Ascher, Jayme (Jesus) Rodriguez, and Roberta Thomson. She was predeceased by her parents and stepfather and by her siblings Darlene, Kathy, and Chrissy. She was also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
