January 27, 1968 – October 8, 2022 (age 54)

David Marsden returned to his Heavenly Father after a long battle with mental illness, on October 8th, 2022. Born January 27, 1968, in Cedar City, Utah. David was married to the love of his life, Janice, and they were sealed in the Logan temple. David enjoyed the outdoors, exploring nature, and traveling the world with his wife. He loved living life fast and had the motto of "Go big or go home." David spent his time working on wood projects and could build anything out of supplies laying around.

David loved church history and served faithfully in his callings for the LDS Church. While David struggled with life in his mortal body, he had a deep testimony of who his Savior, Jesus Christ was and loved attending the temple with his step-children and wife as much as he could.

David is preceded in death by his father, William, his sister Linda, and his brother James.

David is survived by his wife Janice, stepdaughter Hailie, stepson Jaiden, and Bella the family cat; Daughters, Brittney, Kimberlie (A.J.), Jenna (Andrew), Emilie (Nick), and Madelin (Matt); His mother Martha; His brothers Ronald (Marissa), Steve (Maria), Jared Marsden, Aaron (Rachelle); His sisters Janet (Ron), Cheryll Marsden, Lonnie (Jeff), and Deanna (Agbor), many grandchildren and other family members.

David will be missed for the twinkle in his blue eyes, and his witty sense of humor.

Graveside services will be held at Smithfield Cemetery on October 20, 2022, at 11:00 am.

Funeral services will be under the direction of Sunset Mortuary.
