Canton, IL - Eugene Bollinger, 77, of Canton died at 9:18 p.m. Monday, March 17, 2008, at Graham Hospital.
Eugene was born on July 6, 1930 in Frederick, a son of Luther and Leona Vaughn Bollinger. He married Carolyn Markley on Aug. 4, 1951, in Table Grove. She survives.
Also surviving are one son, Dr. Dennis (Lavena) Bollinger; one daughter, Carol (Robert) Butler; three sisters, Charlotte Norton, Betty Norton and Freida Stambaugh; one brother, Richard Bollinger; four grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
He was a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean War.
He was a welder at International Harvester in Canton for 21 years.
Burial will be in Mount Zion Cemetery.
