Carol Ann Davis, 85, of Jay, Oklahoma; passed away Sunday, June 11, 2023, at home. She was born Thursday, August 5, 1937, at Huntsville; to Murel Eli and Amo Gertrude (Harris) Davis.

Carol was the mother to four children. She was one of the first 5 female letter carriers for the United States Postal Service. She was a family-oriented person who loved to send cards to her family and friends. She also enjoyed helping others. Fishing, cooking, sewing, quilting, and playing games were some of Carol's favorite pastimes. Additionally, she was known for being able to fix anything.

Carol was preceded in death by her parents, Murel and Amo Davis and two brothers Ronald Davis and Larry Davis. She is survived by her brother Bill Davis (Zee), sister Nancy Uhrich (Richard), one son Brent Trammell, of Jay, Oklahoma; three daughters, Cindy Conner, of Wichita, KS; Cheri Spurgeon (Mike) of Valley Center, KS and Connie Trammell (Dennis Owens) of Cherokee City, AR; eight grandchildren, Valerie Brauer (Brian), Annie Pearson (Melvin), Jason Trammell (Samantha), Shawnda Santillan, Ashley Trammell, Tabbetha Ryan (Kyle), Miranda McChristain, and Meghan Trammell (Kevin) and 14 great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends 9:00 AM-10:00 AM, Saturday, June 17, 2023, at Brashears Funeral Home. Funeral services will begin at 10:00 AM, with Ryan Bachuss officiating. Interment will immediately follow services at Huntsville Cemetery. Services are entrusted to Brashears Funeral Home and Crematory of Huntsville.
