Mrs. James Higgins 41, Hayfield Native Dies
HAYFIELD - Mrs. James Higgins, 41, of Blooming Prairie, a native of the Hayfield area, died Sunday in Olmsted Community Hospital where she had been a patient for one day. An autopsy is being performed to determine the exact cause of death,believed to be from natural causes.
Mrs. Higgins was the former Charlotte Ann Hyland, born Jan. 17, 1936, in Olmsted County. She attended Hayfield High School, then married Mr. Higgins June 26, 1955, in Hayfield.
Surivors include three sons, Thomas of Blooming Prairie and Tracy and Tim, both at home; two daughters, Terri of Bloomington and Terese at home; three sisters, Mrs. Oswald (Elna) Senjem and Mrs Opal Evjen, both of Hayfield, and Mrs. Don (Lorraine) Hart of Albuqueque. A brother and her parents preceded her in death.
The funeral is 2 p.m. Wednesday in First Lutheran Church of Blooming Prairie with burial also in Blooming Prairie.
Friends may call at the Blooming Prairie Funeral Home until 9 p.m. today and from 9 a.m. to noon Wednesday.
