MOULTRIE, GA – Diane Foster Lanier, 69, of Moultrie, passed away Saturday, June 10, 2023, at her home surrounded by her family.
Funeral services will be held at 3:00 PM Tuesday, June 13, 2023, at Cobb Funeral Chapel with the Reverend Ike Branch officiating. Interment will follow in Westview Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 2:00-2:45PM Tuesday at Cobb Funeral Chapel.
Casketbearers will be Tanner Wilson, Walker Lanier, James McDaniel, Reece Bozeman and Eli Roundtree.
Born July 5, 1953, in Moultrie, GA, she was the daughter of the late Earl Thomas Foster and Hazel Irene Porter Foster. Mrs. Diane was a caring, kind and strong lady who was a friend to many. She helped countless people during her career as a Respiratory Therapist. Mrs. Diane loved her family immensely, especially her grandchildren. She fought valiantly to stay with the family she cherished so much. The love she shared with others will continue to live in the hearts of those who knew her.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Randy Foster.
Survivors include her children, Nikki Wilson and husband Ed, Landon Lanier and wife Jessica, Lacey Herndon and husband Heath; grandchildren, Tanner Wilson, John Taylor Wilson, Lakyn Lanier, Walker Lanier, Eli Lanier, Harley Herndon and Hank Herndon; sister-in-law, LaDene Foster; special niece and bonus daughter, Rachael Foster and husband Danny; along with a number of extended family members and friends.
