Services will be held at 11:00 AM, Tuesday, June 13, 2023, at First Baptist Church, Ramsey, IL, with Daniel "Boon" Carruthers officiating. Burial will follow at Ramsey Cemetery, Ramsey, IL, with Military Rites. Visitation will be held from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Monday, June 12, 2023 at First Baptist Church, Ramsey, IL. He was born July 23, 1932, in Montgomery County, IL, the son of Wayne Leon & Ruth (Broemser) Cole. He married Margaret Kay Jarvis on Friday, June 30, 1972, in Macomb, IL. He worked as a carpenter for Local 270 for 73 years; proudly served his country in the United States Navy, serving as a gunners mate on the USS Comstock LSD19; he was a member of Liberty Church and the Ramsey American Legion; was an avid gardener and hunter. Henry was a hugger and enjoyed playing jokes on his friends and family, and always had a joke ready to tell.
