Gayle Rose, 65 of Connersville passed away on Wednesday, June 7, 2023. He was born on December 11, 1957 in Connersville to Lester and Martha Rose.
Gayle was a faithful member of Park Road Christian Center for nearly 50 years. He was one of the first people you would see coming into the church, he was always there to welcome you with a smile and a handshake.
Gayle had a love for music and was an exceptional drummer. He was a wonderful caretaker for his parents.
Gayle is survived by his parents, Lester and Martha Rose; a sister, Debbie Dye; nephews, Brandon (Whittney) Bumbalough and Jacob (Courtney) Bumbalough; and great niece and nephews, Hunter, Archer, Fischer, Quinn and Knox Bumbalough; and sister-in-law, Debbie Rose.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Danny Rose.
Visitation for Gayle will be held on Friday, June 9, 2023 from 11:00 am until 12:00 pm at Urban Winkler Funeral Home, 513 W. 8th St., Connersville, Indiana. The funeral service will begin at 12:00 pm at the funeral home with Jeremy Horn officiating. Burial will follow in Dale Cemetery.
