Edna P. Kortemeyer, 104, of 502 Campbell Ave., died July 4 at Covenant Medical Center at Kimball Avenue of natural causes.
She was born Nov. 3, 1886 in Independence, daughter of William and Caroline Suhr Yeager. She married Elmer J. Kortemeyer May 23, 1906 in Hazleton. He died May 8, 1967.
Mrs. Kortemeyer lived in Waterloo since 1920.
Survivors include a daughter, Eleanor Erickson of Blanding, Utah; two sons, Richard C. of Strawberry Point and Elmer J. of Waterloo; 13 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, and one great-great-granddaughter; preceded in death by two sons, William and John, a daughter, Kathryn Irma McCarty, and two grandchildren.
Services will be 1 p.m. Wednesday at Westminster Presbyterian Church with burial at 4 p.m. Wednesday in Hazleton Cemetery, Hazleton. Friends may call at Parrott and Wood Funeral Home from 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday.
Memorials may be made to Cedar Valley Hospice.
