Judy Laird, 60, of Lancaster, passed away Friday, July 13, 2018 at Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center. She was born November 3, 1957 in Fayette County to the late Virgil and Geneva Smith Baker. Judy is survived by her loving husband of 46 years, John Laird, Sr.

Judy was a beautiful woman who's smile would light up the room, she loved spending time with her family and two fur babies Izzy and Oo-boo. She was the light of the party and everyone was so happy to see her around. Judy loved her children & grandchildren dearly. There was nothing she wouldn't do for them. Whether it be a shoulder to cry on or someone to tell you what you need to hear whether you like it or not! She was there for you. She will be dearly missed by everyone.

Surviving is a son, John Laird, Jr. of Lancaster; a daughter, Stephanie Brooks (Andy) of Nicholasville; two brothers, William Baker of Stanford and Virgil Baker (Edith) of Nicholasville; two sisters, Mary Newby (Johnny) of Stanford and Marilyn Naylor (Lonnie) of Lancaster; two grandchildren: Cory and Brandi Wilson, and a great grandchild, Baleigh Wilson.

She is preceded in death by a brother, Vernon Baker, and two sisters, Carolyn Bell and Janet Dickerson.

Funeral services 1PM Monday, July 16, 2018 at Spurlin Funeral Home with Bro. Jerry Browning officiating. Burial in Oak Hill Cemetery in Brodhead. Visitation will be Sunday, July 15, 2018 from 6-8PM.

Pallbearers are Cory Wilson, John Newby, Jr., Eric Newby, Billy Abney, Tyler McCoy, and Steven Zajdlik.
